Reset Server
Resetting clears Strom Bot’s stored configuration and bot-managed feature data for one server. It returns every module to its default state without removing the bot.
When to reset
- You inherited a server with messy settings and want to start over.
- A module is misconfigured beyond easy repair.
- You’re moving the server to a new purpose and the old setup no longer applies.
What gets cleared
Resetting removes the server’s module configuration and bot-managed data, including:
- Welcome messages, auto-roles, and cards
- Moderation, anti-spam, and AutoMod settings
- Leveling configuration and role rewards
- Level, economy, invite, voice-tracking, and music data
- Auto-responder rules
- Logging channels and event toggles
- Broadcasts, game-status trackers, and social feeds
- Giveaways, reaction-role panels, tickets, transcripts, and moderation history
What is not affected
- Your Discord server itself — channels, roles, and members are never touched.
- Strom’s membership in the server — the bot stays unless you remove it.
- Your Strom subscription and billing records.
- Other servers — a reset is scoped to the single server you run it on.
This cannot be undone
There is no automatic backup. Once configuration is cleared it’s gone. If you only want to change one feature, edit that module on the dashboard instead of resetting everything.
How to reset
Only the Discord server owner can run a reset.
- Open the dashboard and select your server.
- Go to the server’s Settings page and choose Reset Server.
- Check the server owner’s Discord DMs for the six-digit verification code.
- Enter the code within 10 minutes and choose Confirm Reset.
- Wait for the success message. The dashboard refreshes with the default settings.
After a reset, every module returns to its default (mostly disabled) state — re-enable and reconfigure the ones you need. Permissions on Discord’s side are unchanged, so you may want to review them as part of your fresh setup.
