🛠️ Setup After Inviting
Once Strom Bot is in your server, follow these steps to get started:
- Grant Required Permissions — Ensure Strom Bot has the necessary permissions (Administrator recommended for full functionality, or configure individually).
- Run
/setup— Use the setup command to initialize Strom Bot for your server. - Configure via Dashboard — Head to the Strom Bot Dashboard to customize features, enable modules, and tweak settings to your liking.
- Explore Commands — Use
/helpto browse all available commands.
⚠️ Required Permissions
Strom Bot needs the following permissions to function correctly:

| Manage Roles | For role assignment, reaction roles & AutoMod |
| Manage Channels | For channel lockdowns and auto-setup |
| Kick & Ban Members | For moderation commands |
| Send Messages & Embeds | For all bot responses and announcements |
| Read Message History | For logging and context-aware responses |
| Manage Messages | For message purging and AutoMod actions |
| View Audit Log | For detailed server logging |
| Connect & Speak | For voice/music features |
TIP
Granting Administrator permission covers all of the above and ensures no features are accidentally blocked.

If Strom Bot isn't responding or a feature isn't working after inviting:
- Double-check the bot has the correct permissions in the relevant channels.
- Make sure the bot's role is positioned above the roles it needs to manage.
- Visit our Support Server and open a ticket we're happy to help!

Strom Bot requires its role to be higher in the role hierarchy than any roles it needs to assign or manage.
